ABOUT THE CAPTAIN NEMO

Our Mission

“Our mission is to redefine how water is delivered to the world’s most vulnerable regions through ocean-based logistics and engineering innovation.

Captain Nemo is building reliable, sustainable freshwater systems where they are needed most, bridging abundance and scarcity using intelligent systems and bold design to support communities and strengthen infrastructure.”

This section defines the core objective and system structure of the water and sanitation logistics programme.

This programme is based on more than 40 years of experience in construction, infrastructure delivery, and large-scale logistics operations.

The objective is to move beyond individual project delivery and develop a scalable system for improving access to reliable water supply across coastal and inland regions.

Reliable water access is a foundational requirement for agriculture, economic stability, and public health. Existing distribution models are often constrained by infrastructure limitations, cost, and geographic reach.

The system under development is a water and sanitation logistics network that integrates autonomous maritime vessels, coastal distribution hubs, and modular delivery points. It is designed to transport water from source regions to areas of demand through a coordinated and scalable infrastructure system.

Rather than relying on single-point transport solutions, the system operates as a distributed network. Coastal hubs enable multiple delivery points and staged distribution, improving flexibility and reducing operational constraints associated with traditional tanker-based systems.

Development is currently at prototype stage. Core navigation and operational control systems are in active development, including an AI-based intelligence layer referred to as Aurora Intelligence, which supports sensing and system coordination.

The next phase of development requires structured support for prototype construction, testing, and operational validation in real-world conditions.

This objective defines the current direction of development, from conceptual system design through to prototype deployment and eventual operational scaling.

“This document represents the current system definition at concept and prototype stage, subject to ongoing engineering validation.”
